GXP21(20,30,40)
VoIP account setup
On this page you'll find the settings for Grandstream devices. This configuration is based on the Grandstream GXP2120 and GPX2140. Depending on your Grandstream model and software version, it may look slightly different from the images below. For setup, it's important to copy the information exactly as shown in this example.
How to set up a Grandstream
- Your Grandstream display shows an IP address.
- Enter the IP address in your browser.
- Log in with 'admin' and password 'admin'.
- If this doesn't work, newer Grandstream models have the password on the bottom of the device.
- If you've set your own password before, use that instead. If you can't figure out the password, a factory reset is the only solution to log into your Grandstream.
- Go to Settings.
- Go to Preferences.
- Click on Date and Time.

- For NTP server, enter ntp.verbonden.nl.
- Set the correct Time Zone and select 24-hour display.
- Optionally, you can choose to display the date as well.

VoIP account setup
- Go to Accounts.
- Select Account 1.
- Select General Settings.

- Open a second browser and go to Verbonden.
- Go to Admin.
- Go to VoIP Accounts.
- Go to the VoIP Account you want to connect your device to.
- Go back to the Grandstream page.
- For Account Name, enter the VoIP account number.
- For SIP server and Secondary SIP server, enter ha.verbonden.nl
- For SIP User ID and Authentication ID, enter the Account ID.
- For Authentication Password, enter the Password of the VoIP Account.
- For Name, you can give your device a name. Examples include: your own name, Reception, or the internal number of the device.
- Click Save and Apply.
- The red VoIP Account indicator should now be green.

Basic Settings
- Go to Network Settings.
- For DNS mode, set it to SRV.
- For NAT Traversal, select Keep-Alive.
- Click on Save and Apply.

SIP Settings
Go to Basic Settings under SIP Settings.
- Set the keep-alive interval to 15.
- Set the SIP transport to "TLS/TCP".
- Make sure the SIP URI scheme when using TLS is set to "sip".
- The local SIP port is also useful to adjust.
- It's recommended to set a separate local SIP port for each device. The Local SIP Port depends on your VoIP account ID. For example, if your account id is 123400007, enter 5067 here. Take the last digits of your VoIP account and add them to 5060. So you get 5060+007=5067. This way each Local SIP Port is unique, which is easier for your router.
- Click on Save and Apply.
